Loretta Ward is a native of Cincinnati, OH where she grew up in the neighborhood of Cumminsville. Loretta was brought up in Mt. Calvary as a child and is one of the daughters of National Evangelist Marguerite Goodwin. For years she served and still serves as her mothers Armorbearer traveling to different churches across the U.S. to preach the Word of God.
Loretta is the loving and devoted wife to Mt. Calvary's pastor, Daren Ward Sr. They have been married for 28 years and together they raised 5 children of whom she loves and cherishes dearly. In their marriage, her primary purpose was to make sure that they raised godly children. Together they taught them what love is and trained them up in the way they should go. She is thankful to God that Loretta (Michael) George, Dywauna Ward, Dorenna Ward, Daren Ward(minister of music), and D`arius (Keneesha) Ward as well as her grandchildren are all apart of this great ministry.
As 1st Lady, she instructs, encourages, strengthens, shows forth compassion and love. She is a role model, helps in restoring family relationships and expresses godly love towards all. Her love for the youth in the church is so great that she calls them her own sons and daughters. She is full of life and love.
Besides being Mt. Calvary's 1st Lady, she willingly excepted her call from the Lord, to become an evangelist and fight in this spiritual warfare that we face today. God has given her a vision of a world wide ministry. As an Evangelist, she is a conference speaker, assists in mentoring, Prison Ministry, Outreach Ministry, and running revivals, she allows the Holy Spirit to demonstrate His power and love through her. She is a woman who is in love with Father God, and devoted to the work of the ministry that Christ has given her.
